HAPPINESS, HOPE, AND PEACE!
Greetings! I pray that you and your beloved ones are safe and healthy, by God’s grace. Let’s thank our Heavenly Father for the privilege to worship Him with gladness on His holy day.
As the Sabbath day is approaching, I would like to share with you an amazing SOP promise. I am certain that it will fill your heart with joy: “There is happiness, hope, and peace for the desponding. We cannot afford to give our God-given ability and devote it to the commonplace things of this earth. We want a faith that will grasp the promise set before us in the gospel. What if we should lose our soul? It would be better for us had we never been born. One soul is worth more than all the gold and silver that could be heaped up on this earth. . . .” (EGW, This Day with God, 271) This message relates with a beautiful Bible promise: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (II Peter 3:9)
For God, everyone of His children is very precious to Him. He wants all of us to know that happiness, hope, and peace are always available. He is ready to impart those blessings to us because He is interested in our well-being and salvation. We just need to claim His promises in faith and depend on Him alone. What a wonderful God we serve!
