President's Message

GOD IS ALWAYS READY TO LISTEN AND BLESS!

Greetings! I pray that you and your beloved ones are well, by God’s grace. Let’s rejoice in the Lord and His free salvation offered to us as we worship Him this Sabbath.

This morning, I would like to share with you an encouraging SOP quotation on prayer: “It is ourprivilege to drink largely at the fountain of boundless love. What a wonder it is that we pray so little! God is ready and willing to hear the sincere prayer of the humblest of His children and yet there is so much manifest reluctance on our part to make known our wants to God.” (EGW, SC, 94)

By reflecting on this message, we can learn some important spiritual lessons and relate them with promises found in the Scriptures:

  • It motivates us to pray more and reach out to God’s abundant resources. (I Thess. 5:17)
  • It invites us to approach God with confidence and place our petitions before His throne of grace. (Heb. 4:16)
  • God values sincerity and humility as key elements in our prayers. (II Chron. 7:14)
  • Our Heavenly Father is very sympathetic to our needs. He is keen to listen and impart His blessings to us as we seek His presence and trust Him fully. (Psalm 145:18-19)

How wonderful it is to know that our God is always accessible to us! “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jer. 29:12-13 NIV) Yes,He is just a prayer away!

Thank you for your commitment to God’s Cause and faithful service to His children!

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,

Wesley Torres

President
