Greetings! It is a privilege to praise our Creator as His family on His Sabbath day. May we appreciate this special gift from God with grateful hearts!
This morning, I felt impressed to share with you a beautiful SOP quotation. “God takes men as they are, with the human elements in their character, and trains them for His service, if they will be disciplined and learn of Him. They are not chosen because they are perfect, but notwithstanding their imperfections, that through the knowledge and practice of the truth, through the grace of Christ, they may become transformed into His image.” (EGW, DA, 294)
The message above describes God’s plan for our lives and makes us rejoice in Him. It gives us the assurance that He sees the best in us, not our imperfections, because of the merits of Christ. It also brings us hope and faith as we serve a loving Heavenly Father Who is keenly interested in us. He pleads with us, through the Holy Spirit, to place ourselves in His hands to be led by Him, experience the joy of His free salvation, and accept His call for service. Then, He transforms us to reflect His glory and the character of Christ to witness for Him to those around us. Amazing!
Thank you for your committed ministry for God’s children. I pray that very soon all of us will hear from our Saviour: “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” (Matt. 25:23 NIV)
In His Service,
