President's Message

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Today we have the privilege to “celebrate” another Sabbath day as a family, apart but together in our hearts. It also provides us with an opportunity to praise our kind Heavenly Father for His guidance and protection given to us during this week. Despite the challenging situation that the world is facing with the current health crisis, His mercies are real in our lives — God is good!

I would like to share with you a beautiful SOP quotation that I read in my devotional this morning. I hope you will be blessed by its inspired words as much as I was. “It is not the will of God that His people should be weighed down with care. But our Lord does not deceive us. He does not say to us, ‘Do not fear; there are no dangers in your path.’ He knows there are trials and dangers, and He deals with us plainly. He does not propose to take His people out of a world of sin and evil, but He points them to a never-failing refuge.” (EGW, That I May Know Him, 225) It is very comforting to know that the Lord of lords and the Sovereign God of the whole universe is watching over us as we go through life’s path. He is on our side and promises to sustain us in every occasion (Psalm 23). I pray that we feel protected and encouraged by His daily presence with us — He never fails!

Thank you for your faithful service to God’s people and His Cause.

Please, let’s pray for the IIW digital evangelistic campaign, Pastor John Bradshaw, and for the influence of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the people in our communities.

May God’s blessings be poured abundantly on you and yours!

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,

Wesley Torres
