IT IS TIME FOR EARNEST PRAYERS!
Greetings! This has been a very intense week because of the late developments of the coronavirus. We are updating our website with the latest information available about this health crisis and also communicating with our pastors and school principals (through our office of Education) and sharing with them the messages received from our higher organizations and Health Authorities. It is certainly a time for precautions, “cool head”, and much prayer!
This morning I just want to reaffirm my confidence in God’s leadership over our lives and His Church. We are the apple of His eye! (Psalm 17:8; Zachariah 2:8) Please find below the link for a very practical and spiritual message from Elder Ted Wilson, GC President. This is a time for all of us to be united in prayer and humbly ask the Lord to protect and heal our land and His children around the world (II Chronicles 7:14).
I also would like to share a very comforting and appropriate SOP quotation for this occasion and always: “And God hears prayer. Christ has said, ‘if ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.’ Again He says, ‘If any man serve Me, him will My Father honor.’ John 14:14; 12: 26. If we live according to His word, every precious promise He has given will be fulfilled to us. We are undeserving of His mercy, but as we give ourselves to Him, He receives us. He will work for and through those who follow Him.” (EGW, MH, 226-227) Yes, let’s continue to pray earnestly and depend on God wholeheartedly!
Thank you for your continuous faithful service to God and His people!
Happy Sabbath!
In His Service,
Wesley Torres
President
