President's Message

Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! It has been a busy day already. I just stopped home after officiating a funeral service late this morning and am making my way to Camp Hope in a few minutes for a Visioning Weekend with our Board of Directors (BOD). Please pray for the Lord to grant His wisdom and to inspire our BOD as we fellowship, pray, and make plans for the enhancement of His Cause in our Conference.

As the internet is very iffy at Camp Hope, I thought of sharing with you two beautiful quotations before going there and the Sabbath begins. They complement each other and there is no need for any further comments. I pray that you will be blessed by them as I was (still am):

“There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read; there is no perplexity too difficult for Him to unravel. No calamity can befall the least of His children, no anxiety harasses the soul, no joy cheer, no sincere prayer escapes the lips, of which our Heavenly Father is unobservant, or in which He takes no immediate interest.” (EGW, SC, 100) “God is too good to be unkind and He is too wise to be mistaken. And when we cannot trace His hand, we must trust His Heart.”(Charles Spurgeon)

Thank you for all you do and for representing Christ as you serve Him faithfully!

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,

Wesley Torres
