President's Message

God’s Vision for His Children!

Greetings! My heart was so overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to God as I studied the SS lesson this morning. I felt that I should highlight, echo EGW’s voice, and share her thoughts with you (just in case you missed them), as we start the Sabbath hours. I did not even want to wait until tomorrow morning! “Supreme love for God and unselfish love for one another – this is the best gift that our heavenly Father can bestow. This love is not an impulse, but a divine principle, a permanent power. The unconsecrated heart cannot originate or produce it. Only in the heart where Jesus reigns is it found. “We love Him, because He first loved us.” In the heart renewed by divine grace, love is the ruling principle of action. It modifies the character, governs the impulses, controls the passions, and ennobles the affections. This love, cherished in the soul, sweetens the life and sheds a refining influence on all around.” (AA, 551)

I kindly ask all of us to ponder on our relationships, personality issues, and situations of conflicts in our own life (individually) and at the church level in light of these inspired words. I pray that they permeate our hearts and minds. No need to expand and/or explain EGW’s words and the effect they will cause!

Please, let’s pray for the spiritual success of the upcoming Spiritual Retreats/Trainings at Camp Hope – (registration available online):

In His Service,

Wesley Torres, D.Min.
