President's Message

Blessings Upon Blessings!

Greetings from Cape Hope, BC Conference’s Sanctuary! God has blessed us tremendously during the past 8 days and we have reached the last day of our 2019 Camp Meeting, Reflecting Christ’s Character. We felt God’s presence in every corner of these holy grounds here. Beautiful songs were sung in worship to God, sincere prayers were offered to our loving Heavenly Father and were answered by Him, God’s people were blessed with powerful messages from the Word by His chosen servants in every division, heart-touching testimonies were seen, heard, and shared among us (including a special one which inspired a documentary movie), and an amazing spirit of unity reigned in this camp!

All our workers worked hard and served God’s people to the best of their abilities — thank you! We were also busy in the Administration building. However, throughout the whole Camp Meeting time only two people came to the office with complaints — and even so, one of those ended up in a beautiful reconciliation story. God is good! This shows that a genuine spirit of adoration and desire to Reflect Christ’s Character was prominent in the hearts of our brothers and sisters here at Camp Hope. The message of Psalm 133:1-3: “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!…” was well received and lived in every heart during this Camp Meeting — simply amazing!

Now, I kindly request you to join me in prayer for a wonderful conclusion of our Camp Meeting today. Let’s join hands, hearts, and souls together with the purpose of making ourselves ready and available to receive the power from on high. Then, as we absorb the final messages in the form of songs, prayers, spoken Word, testimonies (including the public acceptance of Jesus as their Saviour by many of God’s children through baptism), and unity among God’s people, let’s truly Reflect Christ’s Character in our lives, to those around us here, and as we go back to our communities!

Also, thank you to those who supported us in prayers from their homes as they participated with us through livestreaming. Yes, we are one family with a mission that is marching unitedly to the Heavenly Canaan!

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,

Wesley Torres, D.Min.

President
