A Tender Spirit of Gratitude!
Greetings from Loma Linda University (LLU)! My family and I are here to celebrate my daughter’s graduation at the LLU School of Dentistry this weekend. We praise God for her accomplishment, for His honour and glory! I rejoice every time I come here as I see the love for “mission” in every corner of this campus. Thousands of Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Pastors, etc, have graduated from this great university and now are serving God’s Church around the world.
This morning, I wanted to share with you a beautiful quotation from the SOP: “It is a law of nature that our thoughts and feelings are encouraged and strenghthened as we give them utterance. While words express thoughts, it is also true that thoughts follow words. If we would give more expression to our faith, rejoice more in the blessings that we know we have,—the great mercy and love of God,—we should have more faith and greater joy. No tongue can express, no finite mind can conceive, the blessing that results from appreciating the goodness and love of God. Even on earth we may have joy as a well-spring, never failing, because fed by the streams that flow from the throne of God. Then let us educate our hearts and lips to speak the praise of God for His matchless love. Let us educate our souls to be hopeful, and to abide in the light shining from the cross of Calvary.” (EGW, MH, 251-253) The Scriptures promotes this spirit of gratitude – one that we should harbour in our hearts – Psalm 116:12; I Thess. 5:18.
Please find below the link for the testimony of Pastor Ben Amoah, Helping Others Share Their Story. He is training the youth at FVAA to use their talents to communicate God’s love for them.
Please, let’s pray for:
