Our Wonderful Counselor!
Greetings from Trail! Pastor Brake and I began visiting some churches of the West Kootenay’s District yesterday. Today, he will be of service to the Castlegar group of believers and I will do the same for the Trail Church family as we worship the Lord and fellowship with them. Tomorrow morning, we will join the Trail and Nelson churches and the Castlegar group in a special visioning session. Please keep these committed small churches in your prayers!
This morning, I would like to share with you an inspiring quotation. I pray that it brings joy to your heart you as it did to mine. “Those who surrender their lives to His guidance and to His service will never be placed in a position for which He has not made provision. Whatever our situation, if we are doers of His Word, we have a Guide to direct our way; whatever our perplexity, we have a sure Counselor; whatever our sorrow, bereavement, or loneliness, we have a sympathizing Friend.” (EGW, God’s Amazing Grace, 114)
May God continue to lead and bless us richly as we serve Him and His people faithfully. We are never alone!
Please pray for our students (various SDA schools) participating in the CASA Football tournament taking place in Abbotsford this weekend. They always enjoy this time of fellowship and sportsmanship together!
