President's Message

Thank you For Your Prayers!

Greetings from Oshawa, ON! I have been here since the middle of this week for a series of meetings, including the SDACC Board of Directors, which will begin this evening and conclude on Monday. Please keep the important discussions and decisions of those meetings in your prayers as well as God’s work in our nation.

I checked my prayer book and noticed that I sent you an e-mail from Oshawa on March 1, 2016. That was the day that, by God’s grace, I began serving as the BC Conference President (Chief Servant), three years ago. Time flies… On that message, I kindly requested you to pray for me, as I needed wisdom to serve in that capacity (even more now), and especially for our Conference. This event came back to my mind this morning. So, I take this opportunity to humbly request your prayers for those same purposes. I have learned much during these last three years, but have much more to learn, yet. Our Conference, which includes our churches, members, pastors, and Bible workers; our schools with their principals, teachers, staff, and students; Camp Hope and its dedicated staff… we all need prayers. We face challenges every day, but our Lord Jesus has sustained us and will continue to bless our efforts! We can sense that His second coming is not far away. We will be going home soon. We should never lose sight of this!

Thank you for joining me in prayers for the continuous spiritual growth of our Conference church family. Also, thank you for your support given to our Administrative Team and the office family. We envision to continue to experience the expansion of God’s Kingdom in our territory. Yes, we are stronger and healthier as a spiritual family when we work together as a Team!

The Bible tells us: “For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress; instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle; and it shall make a name for the Lord, an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.” Isaiah 55:12-13 (ESV) Yes, we ought to move forward in faith with this promise from our God!

Please, let’s pray for:
