Witnessing at its Best!
Greetings from Revelstoke! Today, I will have the joy to be of service to our little but committed and vibrant church family in this beautiful city as I travel through the Okanagan region this weekend. Please keep our brothers and sisters here in your prayers!
This morning, I felt a strong urge to re-check a note that I had taken after reading a message that I received from a special friend a couple of weeks ago. He sent me a profound quotation that inspired me, stirred my heart with gladness, and impressed me regarding the importance of the true approach in associating and dealing with people. I pray that each of you will be blessed by it as you read it today: “Christ-like love places the most favorable construction on the motives and acts of others. It does not needlessly expose their faults; it does not listen eagerly to unfavorable reports, but seeks rather to bring to mind the good qualities of others.” (EGW, AA 319)
I do not think the words above need to be explained and/or expanded. They say it all! Then, my prayer for you and myself is: Lord, help us to reflect the true character of Jesus as we act and represent Him, every day!
