Pastor Shawn Boonstra is speaker/director for the Voice of Prophecy ministry. His broadcasts, live seminars, and books have been a source of inspiration around the globe, and over the years, his live events have been presented on every continent except Antarctica.
Prior to coming to Voice of Prophecy in 2013, Shawn served as an associate ministerial director at the North American Division, where his role was to inspire, train, and equip pastors and churches for evangelism.
Before this assignment, he served for seven years as speaker/director for It Is Written International Television. In his early pastoral career, he served as speaker/director for It Is Written Canada and pastored several churches in British Columbia.
He currently lives in Loveland, Colorado, and enjoys any activity that gets him out of doors and into the mountains, especially when his wife and two daughters join him.

Mike and René Lemon are the new speakers for It Is Written Canada. They are both teachers, 100% organic, non-GMO, sweet and sour lemons. René is the sweet one. They love sharing Jesus with others and have worked in ministry and education positions in Canada for the last 20 years; before that, they worked in South Africa. They have come to It Is Written Canada from Fountainview Academy in BC, where they have ministered for 12 years. They have two amazing daughters.

Dr. Paulien received his bachelor’s degree in theology from Atlantic Union College, which included a year abroad studying in West Germany. His MDiv degree in 1975 and his PhD in the New Testament in 1987 were both earned from Andrews University.
Early in his career, Dr. Paulien was a church pastor in New York and Michigan before attending graduate school. After teaching at Adventist Seminary at Andrews University for many years, he came to Loma Linda University in 2007 as Dean of the newly formed School of Religion. He is a member of the Society of Biblical Literature, the Adventist Society for Religious Study, and the Chicago Society for Biblical Research. He has also served on numerous committees and study projects within the Adventist Church and professional organizations.
Dr. Paulien is a well-respected bible scholar and a prolific writer. He was written dozens of book reviews and has been published on topics relating to the history of the Adventist Church and book of Revelation. He is a specialist in the Johannine literature in the new Testament (Gospel of John and the book of Revelation), and the intersection of faith with contemporary culture. Many of his books have been translated into different languages.
Outside of academia, Dr Pauline enjoys being with his wife and their three children. He also enjoys travel, golf and photography.
