Christ’s Love For us

Greetings from Kelowna! This morning, I will have the privilege to share God’s Word with the Winfield Church family as we worship the Lord and fellowship together. Then, we will also gather for a visioning meeting this afternoon. Let’s pray for each other as we come to God’s House with a fervent spirit of adoration this Sabbath!

I was impressed to share with you a beautiful quotation that touched my soul this morning: “That we might become members of the heavenly family, He became a member of the earthly family.” EGW, DA, 638. Isn’t that a wonderful blessing? Christ came from heaven to become one of us, so that one day we could become members of the heavenly family with Him! That was achieved through His ministry on earth and now as He ministers for us in Heaven. I pray that this message finds a special place in our hearts as we love and serve Jesus. Also, the Gospel Commission empowers us to share this life-changing message as there are many who have not accepted Christ as their Savior, neither experienced the joy of salvation in Him. We are called to be His Ambassadors! (II Cor. 5:20)

Please pray, together with me, for the evangelistic campaigns/trainings around our Conference:

1 – The New Life Church evangelistic campaign with Colin McLaughlin (Jamaica) starting today.

2 – The conclusion of the evangelistic meetings at the Abbotsford Church (this evening) with Pastor Ron Nelson.

3 – Let’s Move Kelowna evangelism with Pastor Chris Holland (It is Written Canada) from next Friday, April 20 until May 12.

4 – Women’s Ministries Retreat with Dr. Ez Branner, next weekend, April 20-22.

5 – Local Church Elders’ Training with Elder Nik Satelmajer at Camp Hope, June 15-17 (details to follow).

6 – Also, for the survivors of Humboldt bus crash (still in hospital) and their family members, but especially for those families of the fatal victims of that terrible accident in Saskatchewan. Come, Lord Jesus!

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,

Wesley Torres
