Power From Above!

Greetings from Kelowna! Today, I will worship the Lord with the Westbank Church family and share God’s Word with them. In the afternoon, I will participate in the Let’s Move Kelowna Rally at the Rutland Church. Chris Holland, It is Written Canada Speaker/Director will be the speaker for that event. I can feel the excitement in the air as the spiritual preparations/activities are on the way for that big evangelistic campaign this spring, which will be humanly led by Chris Holland. The seven churches in town are aligned and working together for this special mission endeavour. God has rich blessings in store and the Holy Spirit is ready to reach the souls in this beautiful city with Christ’s message of salvation!

I felt impressed to share with you a beautiful quotation from the Desire of Ages, page 672, while doing my devotional this morning: "Christ has promised the gift of the Holy Spirit to His church, and the promise belongs to us as much as to the first disciples. But like every other promise, it is given on conditions. There are many who believe and profess to claim the Lord’s promise; they talk about Christ and about the Hoy Spirit, yet receive no benefit. They do not surrender the soul to be guided and controlled by the divine agencies. We cannot use the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is to use usThrough the Spirit God works in His people “to will and to do of His good pleasure.” Phil. 2:13 (emphasis added)

Yes, Christ has fulfilled His promise! The Holy Spirit, the Comforter, is available to every sincere soul who responds positively to His appeals. He is the One Who touches our hearts to convince us from our sins in our surrender to Christ. (John 16:8) The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work harmoniously for our salvation.

Please let’s pray for the Holy Spirit to continue to speak to the hearts of those who are attending the evangelistic campaign in Burns Lake with Pastors St.Hilaire and Kwak. Also, for His power to be poured mightily in this city for the Let’s Move Kelowna campaign.

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,
