How the Gospel is Best Presented

Greetings! Today, I will be with our Youth at DLS. Hundreds of our students will be gathering together to worship God this Sabbath day. Then, they will engage with their volleyball tournament in the evening and tomorrow. We are blessed to have a spiritual and vibrant Adventist educational system for our children. Please, let’s keep our students (schools) in our prayers, constantly!

I had a positive discussion with one of our pastors yesterday afternoon. We talked about God’s amazing love and how it should be reflected in the lives of all of those who profess to be Christians – followers of Jesus Christ. We also prayed for it!

This morning, my mind was directed to a beautiful EGW quotation that summarizes that conversation: The strongest argument in favor of the gospel is a loving and lovable Christian.” (MH, 470)

My prayer today is that this becomes a daily reality in our hearts. Disputes, jealousy, debates, anger, prejudice, “holier than thou”, “who are you???”, and “judgmental attitudes”, etc, should have no place in our lives and among God’s children. When that happens, by God’s grace, His blessings will overflow in such a way that they will be visible and manifested in a tremendous growth in His church -- spiritually and numerically! Would you join me in that purpose?

Please pray for our K-12 Board tomorrow.

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,

Wesley Torres
