Presidential Blessing: May 27, 2017
Greetings! The BC Conference Regional Camp Meeting season is on… Today, the BC Conference Administration will be of service to the Constituent members of Vancouver Island during their local Camp Meeting in Nanoose Bay. We can feel the excitement in the air. Ern Brake is the main speaker for the meetings here this year. Jeff Klam, Joey Aguilar, and I will have our participation in the program this afternoon and evening. Also, FVAA Band is here enhancing the spiritual atmosphere with its music – talk about alignment! Please pray for Ern so that the Lord may use him mightily during this weekend, as He did last evening, and for the spiritual success of these meetings!

Today, my message is one of appreciation for your support of the mission of God’s church in the BC Conference. Your hard work and commitment to His Cause are much appreciated. This calling to you and myself to serve is from on high. I believe that life is only worth living when it has a purpose for which is worth dying for. Then, who is the best example for us? Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior! He left heaven where He was loved and worshipped by the angelical host and came to this world to live a simple life of service. He was humiliated so that we could be exalted before God’s throne; He was rejected so that we could be accepted; He was arrested so that we could be redeemed; He died so that we could live – eternally! (Isa. 53)

I pray that all of us continue to honor God’s calling for service! The highest position one could ever achieve is to have the privilege to sit together with the King of kings and Lord of lords! This will take place soon. Are we willing to continue our service for Him and His children?

May God grant us the rich blessing of being His hand and His feet to all of those we encounter! We should never forget that the Lord wants to say to us one day in eternity “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.” Matt. 25:40 (NASB) Let’s be “bold and humble” so that our lives could always be one of service, in His Name!

Please pray for the ongoing Chilliwack Church evangelistic campaign and the Let’s Move Kelowna preparations.

Happy Sabbath!

In His Service,
Wesley Torres, D.Min.
