NO DREAM IS TOO BIG
.
In 1983 the civil war broke out in Sudan, and took the lives of many in South Sudan. It forced many of them to flee to refugee camps in neighboring countries. Among them was C. Okumu Lomudak, who was just 10 years old. He fled alone to Uganda, back to Khartoum North Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and finally to Canada to avoid being killed or becoming a child soldier.

C. Okumu Lomudak, has inspired many people by sharing his story. To mention a few he was speaker for an event organized by Vancouver public library, Canadian Red Cross, Tofino Film festival, North Vancouver Library, University of British Columbia and in many lower-mainland schools. He is a member of Passage to Canada Speaker's Bureau.
