BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BOD) UPDATES: JULY 26 + AUGUST 11, 2015
.
Greetings! Please find below the highlights of the recent BC Conference Board of Directors (BOD) Meetings held during the months of July (26) and August (11), 2015.

1 – It was voted to invite Dale McCreery to serve as a new member of the Board of Directors, representing the Northern region of BC. Dale was called to participate in the BOD meeting (July – Camp Meeting) immediately after he was officially voted in by the BOD for that position.

2 – The BOD voted to receive the BC Conference President’s report presented by Wayne Culmore, as he shared with the members the news & important actions of the GC Session as well as the progress of God’s Cause throughout of the BC Conference territory.

3 – The BC Conference Departmental Directors joined the BOD meeting (Camp Meeting) & presented their individual verbal reports as the meeting progressed because they were all busy & involved with various activities during Camp Meeting. Special prayers of gratitude were offered to God as well as words of appreciation for their work & positive reports of each Department under their human leadership. A special time & prayer was dedicated for the “Let us Move Vancouver” evangelistic series involving all churches & pastors in the greater Vancouver area. Please pray for the envisioned & sought for 500 souls in those highly inhabited places. God has many sincere people to be reached by the saving message & grace of Jesus Christ in those cities.

4 – The BOD voted to receive the Secretary’s report presented by Wesley Torres, BC Conference Executive Secretary, showing a 16% increase in baptisms by the end of the second quarter of 2015 when compared to the same period in 2014 (94 x 81). However, there is a decrease of 4.08% when the same comparison is made with the 2013 year (94 x 98). We thank God for each precious soul, but we are praying for many more conversions & baptisms for the remainder of 2015. ...
