Terrace: Revelation of Hope

I remember the first time my wife and I decided to visit a family member living in Florida. We were excited for the reason that our first born, Diamond, at the time 10 months will be able to enjoy the sun, sand, and the sea.

We come from Quebec the province of WINTER. We were thrilled to finally have some time-off. We went to the beach almost every day; enjoying every moment of it with our son; who made his first step while we were there.

One day, my sister, made an interesting comment: “I guess when you live next to the sea, and the beach that you don’t enjoy it or even appreciate it has much as someone who don’t.”

This was Doug’s reality during our evangelistic series held in Terrace. Doug was a member of the Church of God, he felt there was something missing when he was studying the book of Revelation with his church family.

Fortunately for him, he said, the church had some difficulties and ended closing their doors. After years of searching and continuing on his own the study of the Bible; he was glad to receive, through his mailbox, an invitation to Revelation of Hope Seminar.

Doug decided to attended the meetings. Night after night he realized the Bible was becoming more alive. As a good student he received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if Pastor St-Hilaire's presentations was Biblical.

He exclaimed one day, it make sense now. Finally my questions were answered, the dots were put together and now he has a better understanding of the book of Revelation.

When we, Pastor St-Hilaire and I, meet with him I can testify this man had fallen in love all over again with Christ. He was like Peter “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

During his baptism you could feel the joy, gladness, and happiness emanating from Doug's face.

Brothers and sisters this is the beauty of the message and we should not apologize for it be timid about it. Instead, we should be empowered to share it to every nations, kindred and tongues. It is our calling as the Remnant Church to do so.
