Wills Not Only for the Wealthy

Home > Latest Updates > 2014 Articles >
A common misconception is that only the wealthy have an estate and need to prepare a Will. If you own investments such as real estate, RRSP’s etc., vehicle, or other personal effects, then you have an estate. A Will is the most basic element of an estate plan that will ensure your assets are passed on to your loved ones with minimal grief. Given the mass amount of wealth the Baby Boomers have, coupled with the fact that nearly one-third of them are without any kind of Will means they will not control who inherits their assets. If you do not currently have a Will the BC Conference would like to assist you by providing a lawyer free-of-charge during Camp Meeting to help draft your Last Will and Testament.
