December 6, 2013 was a memorable day for the Rest Haven Seventh-day Adventist Church youth. We have planned to brave the winter nights and sleep in a pallet house we all built.

The event started with a couple in our church who has been going down to Mexico bringing different people from our church to build a house for a family for the past 6 years.

Pallet House

Our church has partnered up with an organization called Casas Por Cristos and they have been supporting their mission in Mexico for awhile.

To create awareness in our church and in the community, we built two Pallet houses, one in the front of the church, where it will be visible to the cars driving past the church (this is is a show house) and one in the wooded area of the church where we slept for a couple nights.
